Men's Basketball: Game Day Preview vs. DeSales

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State men's basketball team faces DeSales in the Championship Game of the Al Senavitis Memorial Tournament Friday.

GAME INFO
Tip-off in Center Valley, Pa., is scheduled for 7 pm at DeSales University's Billera Hall. At 5 pm, Alvernia and Ursinus will face off in the tournament's Consolation Game.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (10-0) took down Alvernia 61-54 in the tournament's opening game. MIKE JACKSON tallied 14 points as FRANCISCO PAULINO scored eight and eight rebounds off the bench.

SCOUTING DESALES
DeSales enters the game with a 9-2 mark, including a 4-0 record in the MAC Freedom. They have notched seven consecutive victories since a 63-60 setback to Swarthmore on November 19. Both losses have been by three points, including a 73-70 loss to Stockton in overtime.

Montclair is 0-2 against DeSales, dropping decisions in 2019 and 2021.

LAST MEETING
DeSales notched a 79-67 victory over Montclair on November 13, 2021. STEVEN BREEMAN had a team-high 20 points, and seven boards, as DEVIN COOPER registered 12 points, five assists, and four rebounds.
