Wayne, NJ – The Montclair State men and women's swimming and diving teams closed out the dual-meet portion of their schedule with wins over William Paterson Saturday afternoon.
The men's team (7-2, 2-2 NJAC) picked up a 144-94 win as the women's side (7-2-1, 3-1-1 NJAC) clipped the Pioneers 136-115.
Boguslawska also picked up a win in the 200-freestyle, clocking in at 2:05.46 before placing second in the 50-free in 26.08. Skopp-Cardillo won the 50-free in 25.93 and was second in the 200-free in 2:07.26.
JULIE TIEDEMANN and
TAYLOR WADDLETON went 1-2 in the 1,650-free as Tiedemann placed first in 19:01.1 with Waddleton coming in at 19:21.31.
GIANNA ANTONELLI closed out the individual wins for the Red Hawks as she won the 200-butterfly in 2:25.35.
SABRINA ROBINSON placed second in both diving events, scoring 130.87 points in the one-meter and 134.47 in the three-meter.
RYAN KAPPES and
BRANDON DO tallied the top-two times in the 1,650-free, with Kappes finishing in 17:12.84 and Do in 17:44.1. Do also had a second-place time in the 100-breast (1:02.4) as Englert notched a win in the 100-freestyle (52.68) and second in the 200-butterfly (2:04.23).
ALEX PALLEN won both sections of diving, tallying 199.35 points in the one-meter before notching 142.65 in the three-meter.
The Red Hawks close out their season with the Metropolitan Championships. The four-day event begins on February 18 and will be held on the campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
