Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State outdoor track and field teams open up competition at the Oscar Moore Invitational Saturday.

2021 REWIND
Last spring, DAMIEN VALENTINE qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the javelin and placed 16th overall. He threw 47.76m and placed first at the NJAC Championships in the javelin, winning with a throw of 60.28m. Additionally, JOHN GRIFFITH was named the NJAC Outstanding Field Athlete after notching three top-10 finishes, including first place in the shot put. CHRISTINE GRIFFITH was NJAC's Most Outstanding Athlete on the women's side after gaining First Team All-NJAC in the shot put and javelin.

The Red Hawks will resume action next Friday as they compete in the two-day Ramapo Invitational.
