SCOUTING KEAN
The Cougars are 2-3 on the season, dropping five-set matches to New Paltz and Salisbury. They rebounded on Saturday to split a tri-match with Swarthmore and Clark, topping Clark 3-1.
LAST MEETING
Montclair State topped Kean in straight sets last September, winning 25-19, 25-10, 25-18.
LEAH HIGGINS tallied a team-high 14 kills while
KATELYN MONAGHAN led the defense with 19 digs.
CARLY WATERMAN chipped in 10 kills and four service aces in the victory.
SERIES HISTORY
The Cougars hold a 30-17 advantage all-time against the Red Hawks, but MSU has notched wins in the last three matches. The Red Hawks' best stretch came from September 12, 2006 – September 17, 2010 when they picked up triumphs in five consecutive matches.
