Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State men's basketball team hosts Rowan in New Jersey Athletic Conference play Wednesday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (12-2, 6-1 NJAC) rebounded from their first NJAC setback of the year to top Rutgers-Newark 73-55 Monday afternoon. STEVEN BREEMAN tallied his third straight double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds as KYREE HENRY led the way with 17 off the bench.

SCOUTING ROWAN
Rowan is 11-3 overall the season and leads the NJAC with a 7-0 conference mark. The Profs dropped their first two games of the season but have notched wins in 11 of their last 12. Their lone setback during the stretch came on December 29 against Maryville.

LAST MEETING
Montclair fell 110-102 in overtime in their last meeting against Rowan on February 16, 2022. Playing without three starters, the Red Hawks were led by a career-high 42 points from MIKE JACKSON. Jackson shot 15-of-25 from the floor, matching the school record with 10 three-pointers.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 68-44 against Rutgers-Newark all-time but had their five-game winning streak snapped in their last meeting. In Newark, Montclair is just 23-21 but is 26-17 at home during the series.
