Montclair edged TCNJ 58-56 on December 10 behind a season-high 32 points from NICKIE CARTER. Montclair trailed 56-53 with 1:59 left, but SHANNON HUGHES drained a triple with 45 seconds left to tie things at 56. After a TCNJ miss, Carter was fouled twice, converting two free throws with four seconds remaining. TCNJ had one last chance, but OLIVIA VERO grabbed a rebound to preserve the win.
