Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State swimming and diving teams close out the regular season by hosting William Paterson.

MEN'S LAST TIME OUT
The men fell to TCNJ 186-104 in their last meet on January 21. SPENSER DUBOIS registered a new Panzer Pool record time of 57.63 in the 100-breaststroke in the setback. RYAN KAPPES got the Red Hawks a victory in the 1,000-freestyle, winning by over eight seconds in 10:09.02. Dubois triumphed in the 100-breast, finishing in 57.63, nearly three seconds better than second place to set the new pool mark. TYLER DORSETT edged Gavin Formon of TCNJ in the 200-butterfly by .30 seconds, winning in 1:58.97. DANIEL BARTSEVICH helped Montclair get third-place points in the 100-free, clocking in at 50.86. Dubois swept the breaststroke events, winning the 200 in 2:09.61. BRANDON DO was behind him in second, finishing in 2:14.62. LUCAS MIGLIN was clipped by .39 in the 500 free, settling for second in 4:56.18.
 
WOMEN'S LAST TIME OUT
The women's side topped TCNJ for the sixth time in program history as they notched a 182-118 win. Montclair State started strong with SOPHIA SHOPOVICK, ABBY BROCK, CATTY GEYER, and ROURKE PERALTA, claiming first place in the first event of the afternoon. The foursome won the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:52.61. JULIE TIEDEMANN picked up the individual victory of the day as she notched a time of 11:08.22 in the 1,000-free. Tiedemann made it two consecutive individual wins in a row as she returned to win the 200-freestyle in 2:00.18, with KATE CIPOLETTI second in 2:01.96. Shopovick and ERIN BARRETT went 1-2 in the 100-back, with Shopovick edging her teammate by a mere .17 seconds. The sophomore was first in 1:02.77, followed by Barrett in 1:02.94. Brock and LILI SHAY claimed the top two spots in the 100-breaststroke, as Brock was first in 1:09.59 and Shay second in 1:13.84. Rookies Geyer, SYDNEY MCGANN, and MADELINE ROGERS were 1-2-3 in the 200-fly, as Geyer won by nearly five seconds in 2:20.79. Tiedemann completed her big day with a third individual win, touching the wall in 5:23.12 as Cipoletti was second in 5:29.47. Geyer capped off the wins with a first-place mark of 2:19.89 in the 200-IM, as JULIET DI PASQUALE was second in 2:21.1.
 
SERIES HISTORY
The men's team is 29-12 against William Paterson and has won 12 consecutive meetings. William Paterson hasn't won in Montclair since January 30, 2002. On the women's side, the Red Hawks are 35-14, including 13 straight wins. The drought in Montclair goes back to January 29, 1997, as the last time William Paterson won.
