Preview | Volleyball vs. Rutgers-Camden

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State University volleyball team hosts Rutgers-Camden in NJAC action on Tuesday.

GAME INFO
Game time inside the Panzer Athletic Center is scheduled for 7 pm, with live stats and video links available on montclairathletics.com. Video can also be found on the Red Hawk Sports Network YouTube Channel.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (11-11, 1-4 NJAC) swept a tri-match against Lancaster Bible and Penn State-Berks on Saturday. SKYE RAMSEY had 14 kills, while RACHEL CURRAN posted a double-double of 11 digs and 10 kills in the win over Lancaster Bible. In the nightcap, GABBY KONRAD filled the stat sheet with 11 digs, eight kills, and eight assists.

SCOUTING RUTGERS-CAMDEN
Rutgers-Camden enters with an 11-8 record, including a 3-2 mark in the NJAC. Last Sunday, they had their three-match winning streak snapped by Alvernia but rebounded with a three-set victory over Rutgers-Newark on Tuesday.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 18-6 against Rutgers-Camden all-time. Inside the friendly confines of the Panzer Athletic Center, Montclair is 9-2 versus the Scarlet Raptors. The Red Hawks had their six-match winning streak against Rutgers-Camden snapped in the first meeting last fall. 

LAST MEETING
Montclair topped RU-Camden 3-1 in the First Round of the NJAC Tournament on November 1, 2022. LEAH HIGGINS posted a double-double of 18 kills and 13 digs, as CARLY WATERMAN (21 digs/14 kills) and DELANEY ST. PIERRE (37 assists/15 digs) also added double-doubles.
