Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State University field hockey team hosts Ramapo College on Wednesday evening.

On Saturday, the Red Hawks (6-10, 0-3 NJAC) fell 5-1 to nationally-ranked Rowan. GAB MAISTO had the lone goal in the setback, with MCKENNA LAMAN making five saves.

SCOUTING RAMAPO
The Roadrunners are 3-11 on the year, including a 0-3 mark in the NJAC. They have dropped five straight games, with their last victory coming against Cedar Crest on October 6.

Montclair is 18-1 against Ramapo, with the lone loss coming at Sprague Field in 2021. In the 19 games, the Red Hawks have surrendered eight goals while allowing multiple goals just once.

LAST MEETING
Montclair topped Ramapo 2-1 on October 1, 2022. CARLIE VAN TASSEL scored in the 10th minute before KYLIE COMPTON converted a penalty stroke in the 12th. Ramapo pulled within one with 2:43 to go in the half, but LAUREN PICKUL made five fourth-quarter stops to preserve the victory.
