SCOUTING RUTGERS-NEWARK
The Scarlet Raiders enter the contest at 3-3 and 0-1 in the NJAC. After reeling off three straight wins after an opening night loss to Springfield, Rutgers-Newark has dropped two straight. In the NJAC opener against Ramapo, they fell 70-40 on the road Tuesday.
SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 71-50 against Rutgers-Newark, including two consecutive wins. Inside the friendly confines of Panzer, Montclair has posted a 27-17 mark. The Red Hawks are 6-1 against the Scarlet Raiders in the last seven games, with the lone victory coming on February 9, 2022.
