SCOUTING RUTGERS-NEWARK
The Scarlet Raiders are 1-5 on the year and 0-1 in the NJAC. They opened the season with a 69-51 victory over Cairn but have lost five straight contests. In their NJAC opener on Tuesday, they were topped by Ramapo 76-54.

Montclair is 66-7 against Rutgers-Newark, including 22 consecutive wins. Inside Panzer Athletic Center, the Red Hawks are 36-1, with the lone blemish coming on January 21, 1992. The Scarlet Raiders' last triumph came on November 30, 2011, as they clipped Montclair 73-72.
LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks tallied an 85-64 win over Rutgers-Newark on January 25, 2023. Montclair raced out of the gates with a 26-8 first-quarter advantage and never looked back.
