Preview | Volleyball vs. Kean (NJAC Quarterfinals)

Montclair, NJ – The sixth-seeded Montclair State University volleyball team visits third-seeded Kean University in the Quarterfinal of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament on Tuesday evening.

The first serve in Union, NJ, is scheduled for 7 pm, with live stats and video links available on montclairathletics.com.

TICKET PRICES
Per the NJAC, ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students/senior citizens/children. All ticket sales are CASH ONLY.

LAST TIME OUT
On Friday, the Red Hawks (16-13, 3-5 NJAC) split a tri-match in their regular season finale on Saturday. They fell to New Paltz in four sets before closing the day with a straight-set win over DeSales. NADYA ACKERMANIAN and SKYE RAMSEY put down 11 kills against New Paltz as KATIE RODMAN collected a career-high 30 digs in the win over DeSales.

Montclair is 17-32 against Kean and has dropped seven of the last 10 contests. They have met eight times in the NJAC Tournament previously, with Kean notching a 5-3 record. Away from the friendly confines of the Panzer Athletic Center, Montclair is just 6-14 against the Cougars.

LAST MEETING
Montclair dropped a three-set match to Kean on September 19. The team fell 25-16, 25-23, 25-17 in a sold-out Panzer Athletic Center. RACHEL CURRAN led the Red Hawks with 11 kills, and EMILY CARCICH handed out 23 assists.
