Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State University volleyball team competes at the two-day Misericordia Invitational beginning Friday.

The Red Hawks (5-3) took down Arcadia in straight sets on Tuesday. EMILY CARCICH tallied a double-double of 24 assists and 12 digs as KATIE RODMAN picked up 17 digs. The team was led offensively by RACHEL CURRAN (14 kills) and ZOEY HORN (7 kills).

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 4-8 against New Paltz, winning two of the last three contests. Before that stretch, the Hawks had tallied six straight victories. The Red Hawks are 1-1 against Wentworth, winning in 2011 and losing in 2022.

Montclair topped New Paltz in straight sets on September 18, 2021. CARLY WATERMAN had 11 kills and 10 digs as Katelyn Monaghan notched 17 digs and two aces. The Red Hawks fell in four sets to Wentworth on September 16, 2022, as LEAH HIGGINS had 16 kills in the setback.
