LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (10-6, 5-4 NJAC) clipped Kean 92-86 on Saturday, January 13 at the Panzer Athletic Center in a game that featured 14 lead changes and 10 ties. Montclair regained the lead with under five minutes remaining on four-consecutive free throw makes and did not relinquish it the rest of the way. MIKE JACKSON led the Red Hawks with 19 points, and FRANCISCO PAULINO set a career-high 16 points in his first start of the season. KIERAN FLANAGAN tallied 14 points, seven rebounds, and six assists in the contest.

SCOUTING NJCU
NJCU enters Wednesday night's clash with a 5-11 mark, including a 2-7 record in NJAC play so far this season. Both of their conference wins have come at home, but they have lost six of their last seven NJAC games overall. The Gothic Knights fell in their most recent game 94-74 at Stockton on Saturday, January 13. Jaheim Lewis tied for the game-high with 24 points. 

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks lead the all-time series 100-80 and have won five-straight against the Gothic Knights, including a 89-69 victory in the opening round of the 2023 NJAC Men's Basketball Tournament at the Panzer Athletic Center. Montclair won the last meeting in Jersey City, taking down NJCU 68-47 on November 22, 2022.

LAST MEETING
Montclair edged NJCU 83-82 in overtime on November 21, 2023 in the NJAC opener for both sides. The Gothic Knights battled back from down seven with 1:34 remaining to force an extra period on a buzzer-beating three-point shot. KEYON PRYCE, who had a team-high 18 points in the contest, led the Red Hawks in a tightly-contested overtime to help seal the victory.
