LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (12-6, 7-4 NJAC) surged past Rutgers-Camden on Saturday, January 20 at the Panzer Athletic Center. Montclair opened a double-digit lead six minutes in and increased their margin as high as 22 during the first half. SCOUTING RUTGERS-NEWARK
The Scarlet Raiders come into Wednesday's game with a 10-8 mark, including a 6-5 record in NJAC play. They have won four of their last five contests in conference play, including their last two. Montclair fell to Rutgers-Newark 72-60 on November 29, 2023 at the Panzer Athletic Center. After trailing by 15 three minutes into the second half, the Red Hawks mounted a comeback, getting to within four with 11:16 on the clock. The visitors pushed the advantage back to 11 with a quick seven points and would not relinquish the lead the rest of the way. MIKE JACKSON led Montclair with 21 points, and KEYON PRYCE and KIERAN FLANAGAN each tallied 13.
