- OLIVIA VERO's eight points in three minutes during the second quarter allowed for the Red Hawk's biggest lead of the half at 15.
- ISABELLA ORLANDO and Vero led the Red Hawks with nine and ten points respectively at the conclusion of the first twenty minutes.
- The first basket of the second half for Montclair came from BRIANNA MONTAJES who halted a six point Rutgers-Newark run two minutes in.
- TERESA WOLAK put in the work on the board during the third quarter. She led both teams in rebounds with ten, five offensive.
- Despite being out scored in the third, the Red Hawks still led going into the fourth quarter, 56-48.
