LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (8-11, 5-7 NJAC) defeated Rutgers-Newark 69-57 on Wednesday, January 24. Montclair opened a five-point advantage after 10 minutes and outscored the Scarlet Raiders 38-27 in the first half. The home side made a push in the third quarter, but a strong defensive performance in the fourth sealed the victory for the Red Hawks. OLIVIA VERO led Montclair with 16 points to go along with six boards.

SCOUTING TCNJ
The Lions enter Saturday's contest with a 12-7 record on the campaign and a 9-3 mark in conference play. After dropping two of their first three NJAC contests, TCNJ has won eight of their last nine, including three-straight. They took down Rowan 73-56 in their most recent game on Wednesday, January 24. Nina Branchizio and Julia Setaro led all scorers with 19 points each, with the team shooting 47 percent from both the field and beyond the three-point arc.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair holds a 54-37 lead in the all-time series against TCNJ coming into Saturday afternoon. The Lions have claimed the last two games against the Red Hawks which ended a four-game winning streak for Montclair in the series. The Red Hawks have won three of the last five games at the Panzer Athletic Center, including the last two. They defeated TCNJ 58-56 on December 10, 2022 in the last time the Lions came to Montclair.

LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks fell to TCNJ 67-39 on December 9, 2023. TCNJ utilized a strong first quarter, including a 12-1 run, to build an early advantage. Montclair was able to cut the deficit to six early in the second quarter, but the Lions pushed it back to double figures at the half. The Red Hawks were able to get as close as nine in the third quarter, but TCNJ closed strong defensively for the victory.
