LAST TIME OUT
The Montclair State University women's lacrosse team set a school record with 24 goals en route to a 24-9 win over Manhattanville College on Saturday. The Red Hawks surpassed their previous record of 22 goals in a game, which they had set seven times previously. Montclair last scored 22 goals against Rutgers-Camden on April 21, 2021.LEXI ROBINSON paced the Red Hawks with five goals and an assist while adding two ground balls and two caused turnovers. CHELSEA STACK contributed four goals and three assists, with NORAH MONAGHAN posting four goals and an assist. KAELEY SEK, SAMANTHA HANDZO, AMRA LUKOVIC, and CARA MCCARTNEY added two goals each, with Lukovic recording six draw controls.

SCOUTING KEAN 
The Cougars are currently 7-5, 0-1 against NJAC conference opponents. Notable losses can be attributed to #16 ranked Stevens, New Paltz, Swarthmore, Muhlenberg, and NJAC opponent Stockton 17-13. Some of the  Cougars wins were against Wilkes University, 18-5, Drew University, 16-15 in overtime, Arcadia University 15-14, and FDU-Florham, 19-8.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are currently 29-3 against the Cougars. They are on a current one game losing streak. The Red Hawks average 15.31 goals against Kean and are 12-2 on the road against the Cougars.

LAST MEETING 
The Montclair State women's lacrosse team was edged by Kean University 11-9. ASHLEY PETROSINE led the Red Hawks with three goals, scoring the first two of the game. The Red Hawks were tied with the Cougars in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough as the Cougars scored the last two goals of the game late in the fourth quarter. JOEY GROTKOPF netted seven saves in the setback.
