Montclair, NJ The Montclair State University Women's Lacrosse Team takes on NJAC opponent Rowan University in their last regular season game Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Montclair State Women's Lacrosse Team were topped by #9 ranked The College of New Jersey, 18-6, Saturday Afternoon. AMRA LUKOVIC recorded a hat trick as she led the team with goals scored. DANIELLE DE JESUS  and OLIVIA DALLY led the Red Hawks with four ground balls a piece. SHAINA SWEEZY pitched on the defensive end tallying two caused turnovers against The Lions. Grotkopf led both goalies with 11 saves.

SCOUTING ROWAN 
The Profs are currently 6-10 and on a one game lose streak. They are 3-1 in the conference and sit second in the conference behind TCNJ. They have beaten NJAC opponents Kean 19-9, Stockton 17-6, and Ramapo 22-3 and fell to TCNJ 11-15. They also have lost to three nationally ranked teams, #17 Stevens, #19 Christopher Newport, and #3 Franklin & Marshall. 

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are currently 30-8 when going against The Profs and are on a current two game losing streak. The Red Hawks home record is 4-16 and their last win at home was May 3, 2017. Montclair averages 8.26 goals when going up against Rowan and are 4-6 in the  last 10 matchups against Rowan.  

LAST MEETING 
The Montclair State University women's lacrosse team fell to Rowan University 21-2 in their season-finale Saturday. SAMANTHA HANDZO registered two caused turnovers, withOLIVIA DALLY and DANIELLE DE JESUS adding one each. Goalkeeper JOEY GROTKOPFy made 11 saves in the setback.
