SCOUTING ALVERNIA
The Golden Wolves enter this game with a 2-1 overall record and are coming off a 114-73 triumph against Penn State-Berks on Wednesday. Last season, Alvernia finished 16-12 with a 7-7 record in the MAC Commonwealth. They went into the conference playoffs as the fourth seed and upset top-seeded Albright, 89-81, but fell in the championship to York (Pa.), 82-67. According to the MAC Commonwealth Preseason Poll, they are the projected favorites to win the conference this season.
