Men’s Swimming & Diving Edges Drew, 119-99

Madison, NJ – The Montclair State Men's Swimming & Diving team (4-1) swam on the road at Drew (0-3) and edged the Rangers by a score of 119-99.

How It Happened

VINCENT TERZO once again led the way with his victories in the 500 free (4:50.59) and the 1000 free (10:04.29).
MICHAEL SALVATORI and PETER JARZAB also notched individual wins in the meet. Salvatori came in first in the 100 back with a time of 55.00, and Jarzab notched first in the 100 fly with a time of 51.15. Salvatori also placed second in the 400 IM (4:19.31), and Jarzab touched the wall third in the
MATT DETTLINGER saw a pair of second-place finishes in both the 100 breast (1:00.46) and the 100 fly (54.20).
Also seeing second-place finishes were BOBBY FREECE and MAX SMILEVSKI. Freece touched the wall second in the 100 free (47.97) and Smilevski in the 200 free (1:45.75). Freece also finished third in the 200 free with a time of 1:46.98.
JORDAN LEDBETTER finished with two third-place showings. He placed third in the 100 breast (1:00.57) and the 400 IM.
MICHAEL WOJCIECHOWICZ wrapped up individual top-three placements, placing third in the 100 free with a time of 49.00.
The 200 free relay team of Freece, Wojciechowicz, Smilevski, and Jarzab nabbed first in the event with a time of 1:26.86. The 200-medley mash-up of ANDREW PEARCE, Dettlinger, ADRIAN GONZALEZ, and NICHOLAS KIPP nabbed second with a team time of 1:38.90.
