Montclair, NJ- Announced on Thursday afternoon by D3football.com, Montclair State University football seniors THOMAS SMITH and ROGER RUBINETTI were both awarded Third Team All-Region II honors for their performances on the field in 2025.
 
Smith earns this honor after being named First Team All-NJAC back in November. Tom was the anchor of a dominant Red Hawk offensive line. He started all eight of his appearances and helped guide an offense that ranked top four in the NJAC across every major statistical category. Under his leadership, Montclair rushed for a school-record 27 touchdowns, and the offensive line surrendered just six sacks all year.
 
Rubinetti adds this accolade to go along with the NJAC Special Teams Player of the Year award and First Team All-NJAC honor he earned back in November. He went 10-for-12 on field goals, delivering two game-winners, including a 37-yarder in the 30–27 victory over TCNJ in the home finale. As the team's punter, he averaged 36.4 yards per kick, placed six punts inside the 20, and recorded three punts over 50 yards. He also averaged 45.4 yards per kickoff and converted 26 PATs, while earning three NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week awards—most in the conference this season.
 
Rubinetti and Smith keep a streak of five-straight seasons where the Red Hawks earned at least one player to the All-Region team.
 
The Red Hawks, in 2025, finished 5-5 and 4-3 in NJAC play.
