Montclair, NJ- Announced on Monday afternoon by the New Jersey Athletic Conference office, Montclair State University freshman guard CRISTIAN NICHOLSON was named the NJAC Rookie of the Week for his performance on December 17. He earns this award for the third time this season.
 
Nicholson was at the forefront of Montclair's 97-84 win at Maritime this past Wednesday. The freshman guard led the team with 18 points and tallied five assists and four rebounds on the afternoon.
 
Cristian has been named the NJAC Rookie of the Week three out of the last four weeks and has earned it in back-to-back weeks.
 
Men's basketball will close out 2025 on New Year's Eve with a highly anticipated matchup against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.). Tip-off from the Panzer Athletic Center is set for 1:00 p.m.
