Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State University women's flag football team and head coach Jim Kelly announced the program's inaugural schedule for the Spring 2026 season on Friday afternoon.
The Red Hawks' opening campaign will consist of 14 games, including eight contests at Sprague Field and six on the road, with 10 matchups coming against teams in the newly formed Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).
Montclair opens the season on March 9 when it hosts Mercy before heading on the road for a matchup at Eastern on March 17. The Red Hawks will then face LIU in a home-and-home series, traveling to LIU on March 20 before hosting the Sharks on March 23.
In April, Montclair will travel to Mount Saint Mary before returning home for three consecutive contests against Kean (April 6), Eastern (April 9), and Mount Saint Mary. The Red Hawks will then hit the road for three straight games at Kean (April 13), Keystone (April 15), and Mercy (April 20).
Montclair closes out the regular season with a matchup against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn on April 22 before hosting Sacred Heart and Wagner in a tri-match format on April 25.
The ECAC Playoffs are scheduled for May 1–2.
Set to embark on its first season as a program, Montclair State will look to make an immediate impact this spring.
