CARA MCCARTNEY. At the 11:18 mark, Robinson slotted a pass to
KAELEY SEK, who doubled the advantage for Montclair. The Rams searched for another offensive opportunity, with
JOEY GROTKOPF tallying a pair of saves before
KYRA MORENA increased Montclair's lead to three with five and a half minutes on the clock. The Red Hawks notched one more marker in the frame off the stick of
NORAH MONAGHAN to make the score 5-1 after 15 minutes. Montclair continued its offensive flurry into the second period, with McCartney kicking off the run with a goal off a pass from Monaghan. Morena and Monaghan combined for two of the game's next three goals to push the Red Hawks in front 8-2 with just under nine minutes to go. Following another stop from Grotkopf, Montclair capitalized on a man-up opportunity with a marker from
KAYDRIANA TOLEDO. As the half came to a close,
AMRA LUKOVIC found the back of the net with 13 seconds left to push Montclair into double figures, 10-2, at the break. Coming out of halftime, the Red Hawks notched another pair of goals from Lukovic to increase their lead to double-digits after 90 seconds. With the quarter approaching its midway point, Farmingdale State broke through with a goal and would score another after Robinson found Sek for another strike. At the 2:20 mark of the quarter, Robinson scored on a man-up opportunity to push the lead back to double-digits. The home side scored one more time in the third with 63 seconds remaining to make the margin nine going into the final stanza. After a scoreless five minutes to kick off the fourth quarter, Farmingdale State converted a man-up chance of their own and would add another with 5:59 remaining in the contest. 90 seconds later, Monaghan scored a free-position goal and slotted a feed to Robinson on the game's next possession to nudge the lead back to nine.
