Montclair nabbed a 16-6 win on the road at Eastern Connecticut on Saturday. The Red Hawks fell behind early when an early green card set the Warriors up with a man-up goal just over a minute into the game.

LEXI ROBINSON put a free position shot into the back of the net at the 9:27 timestamp. The game then stalled out on scoring until 5:18, where a man-up goal from Sek sparked three goals in the next three minutes for an 8-3. The Warriors tried to narrow the deficit in the final two and a half minutes of the half, but Grotkopf kept them off the board with two saves and kept the score at 8-3 entering intermission. An Eastern Connecticut goal at the 11:48 mark in the third was answered by two quick goals from Lukovic to extend the lead to 10-4. Following a Warrior goal, McCartney assisted two goals, one to Kaydrianna Toledo and one to Sek, for a 12-5 advantage with 6:32 remaining in the third. Robinson put in one more goal before the period ended with 48 seconds remaining, scoring on a free position to give the Red Hawks a 13-5 lead heading into the fourth. Another Red Hawk goal was scored off the stick of McCartney with just over a minute into the fourth quarter. The Warriors answered at the 7:45 timestamp to put the score at 14-6, but were kept off the scoreboard the rest of the way. The final two goals of the game were scored by
ASHLEY CASTILLO, who slotted a goal in with an assist from
MIA CUCCINELLO, and Lukovic off a man-up free position to stamp a 16-6 win.
