Lexington, KY- Announced on Friday afternoon by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), the Montclair State University volleyball team nabbed the 2026 Team Academic Award for its performance in the classroom throughout the year.
 
To be honored with this award, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher. 1,432 collegiate and high school teams were selected for this award.
 
The Red Hawks secured this accomplishment with a team GPA of 3.64.
 
Montclair enters the 2026 season following a historic 2025 campaign in which it matched the program record for wins, finishing 26-6.
