Montclair, NJ – DANIELLE MULLINS scored with three seconds remaining to lift the #23 Montclair State University Women's Soccer team past Berry 4-3 on Sunday afternoon at MSU Soccer Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Red Hawks (6-1-1) recorded the first shot of the game in the seventh minute, following a foul just outside of the near edge of the box. SAMIRA LUKOVIC took the free kick, curling in a left-footed shot around the wall, bending towards the far post and past the keeper to put the home side in front. Berry leveled right off the restart, as a run down the far touch line led to a cross that took a deflection. The ball fell close by at the feet of a surging midfielder, who chipped a shot to the left post. Shortly after, the Vikings sent another attempt on frame that had to be collected by MACKENZIE SIBELLO.
• Montclair searched for the go-ahead marker as the half progressed, as Lukovic ripped a shot attempt from well outside the box that had to be parried away by the Berry keeper, forcing a corner kick. Lukovic went to take the corner from the near side, looping in a left-footed ball that went off a Berry defender towards goal. After the keeper pushed the ball away, it found the feet of ISABELL KRONOW, who notched a left-footed shot into the back of the net to give the home side the lead going into the halftime break.
• Berry struck 12 minutes into the second half, as a pair of passes leading the ball to the near edge of the box led to a right-footed one-time shot that rang off the crossbar and down into the net. Montclair regained the advantage in the 62nd minute, as SOPHIA ORELLANA sent a throw-in to Kronow along the near end line. Kronow played the ball back to Orellana, who chipped the ball into the box, where it was headed up and past the keeper by MARY LANE. The two sides traded scoring chances over the next 13 minutes, as Sibello tallied another save, leading to a shot on goal from Lane on the ensuing possession that was parried away by the Vikings.
• The visitors leveled the contest again in the 81st minute, as a shot from just inside the edge of the 18-yard box went into the back of the net towards the top left post. Montclair pushed on the front foot over the final 10 minutes and would find the breakthrough marker in the game's waning moments. CARLY GUZZARDO sent a throw-in to KAYLEE LAUBER along the far touch line, as the striker made a run to the end line and crossed the ball back to the near side for Orellana. The unmarked defender immediately sent a left-footed centering pass towards the front of goal, where Mullins headed it past the keeper with three seconds on the clock to seal the victory for the Red Hawks.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

• The goal for Mullins was her first of the season and second of her collegiate career. Her go-ahead goal with three seconds on the clock marked the latest of its kind for the Red Hawks since September 14, 2019, when Catherine Carnevale notched a game-winning goal with no time remaining against Ursinus.
• Kronow tallied a goal and an assist for the second time this season, marking her third performance overall in 2026 with multiple goal contributions. She leads the team with six goals and is tied for second with four assists. 
• Lane has scored in three of Montclair's last five games, all three being the first of her collegiate career. The goal for Lukovic marked her second of the season.
• Lauber notched her fifth assist of the season to move into sole possession of the team lead. The pair of assists for Orellana marked the first two of her Montclair career.
• Sibello matched her season-high of six saves, both coming over Montclair's last two games. She recorded her sixth victory of the season in goal for the Red Hawks.
