ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
Mike Scala, who served as the Director of Sports Publicity at Montclair from 1999 - 2022, passed away after a multi-year battle with cancer in August 2022. Mike's presence on game day is greatly missed. He supported all of the athletic programs at his alma mater, and the Montclair State women’s basketball program wanted to commemorate Mike’s honor and celebrate his legacy by naming the Holiday Classic after him.Â
