Allen Phillips begins his second season on the Red Hawks staff. Phillips, who will work with the defensive backs, completed his outstanding career in 2014 when he was named to the NJAC All-Conference Team after finishing second in the league in sacks with seven. He recorded 2.5 sacks each in wins over Lincoln University and at William Paterson and totaled 36 tackles for the season, 26 of which came unassisted. Phillips appeared in 27 games for Montclair State and had 74 tackles including 10 for loss.
