Montclair State University Athletics

A former Red Hawk, Andrew Maurizio returns for his second stint on Rick Giancola's staff and fifth season overall. Maurizio will work with the fullbacks. Maurizio played three seaons for Montclair State and also served as a student assistant coach for two years. After earning his dgree from MSU in 2007 in Physical Education and Health, Maurizio became a teacher at Westside High School in Newark and also served as an assistant football coach helping the RoughRiders to the 2007NJSIAA North 2, Group III state championship. Maurzio recently served as head coach at his high school alma mater John F. Kennedy in Iselin leading the Mustangs to consecutive state playoff berths. He currently resides in Secaucus, NJ with his wife Jessica and daughter Brielle.
