Jim Melody is in his third season with the Red Hawks and returns to working with the wide receivers after spending 2012 with the running backs. After a four-year career at quarterback, Melody played from 2007-2010 and was part of four postseason squads, including NJAC Championship and NCAA Playoff teams in 2009 and 2010. In his senior season, Melody threw for a pair of touchdown passes as he tossed scoring strike against Brockport and in the NCAA Playoffs at Wesley. An outstanding scholastic athlete at Union High School, Melody played both football and baseball earning All-Group 4 and All-Conference honors as a quarterback. In addition he was an All-Conference baseball player. Melody completed his degree in Physical Education and Health and from Montclair State in May and is currently a physical education and health teacher in his hometown of Union, NJ.
