Daren Rowe

A former standout player and now assistant coach, Daren Rowe returns for his 15th season on the MSU coaching sidelines. A former star player at St. Peter’s College under Fiore, Rowe played from 1983 through 1987 with the Peacocks. An All-MAAC First-Team selection and All-Metro Region second-team member during his senior year, Rowe was also selected to the All-MAAC Tournament Team and was voted as the New Jersey College Player of the Year in 1987. A durable player in his four years, Rowe played every game in his first three seasons at St. Peter’s and finished his career with 957 points, 600 rebounds, 120 steals and 97 career blocks. A free agent selection of the NBA’s Utah Jazz, Rowe also played extensively as a professional player in Europe. Inducted into the New Rochelle Sports Hall of Fame in 2011, he currently resides in Brooklyn, NY and is the father of two daughters Ashley and Yadira and grandson Jalan.
