Montclair State University Athletics

Nick Sires begins his first season at Montclair State after spending the past three years as an assistant coach at Pope John XXIII High School in Sparta, NJ.  SIres was a member of the 2015 NJSIAA Non Public A State Championship Team which was ranked No. 7 in the USA Today Top 25. Sires coached multiple student-athletes who went on to play at the Division I and II levels in his tenure.  Sires graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2011 where he was a student assistant for two years, primarily in charge of the Video Coordinator responsibilities.  During that time the Red Dragons captured the SUNYAC Championship and made an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.  Sires, a New Jersey native, currently resides in Livingston, NJ.
