Montclair State University Athletics

Will Bishop begins his 17th season as an assistant men's basketball coach at Montclair State University.

During the 2024-25 campaign, Bishop was part of the group named NJAC Coaching Staff of the Year for guiding the Red Hawks to the NJAC Championship and their second NCAA Tournament appearance in three seasons.

Bishop joined the Montclair State after a four-year varsity career culminating in a 22 point effort in his final season against New Jersey City University which included a half court buzzer beater. Bishop also spent four years coaching AAU for Elite basketball based out of Mount Olive, New Jersey and was part of the two 20-win teams with the Red Hawks including the NJAC North championship in 2008-09.

He currently works at Riteway Care Center and lives in Montclair with his wife.
