Joining his former teammates on the staff for his fourth season, Joe Cullen put together one of the finest men's soccer careers in MSU history. Appearing in 87 contests, Cullen was a three-time NSCAA All-Region and All-NJAC pick in addition to being named First-Team All-ECAC in 2009 when he helped Montclair to its fourth consecutive NJAC Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. He was named the Pat Baldiserra Midfielder of the Year in the NJAC and earned All-Region honors by the NSCAA before collecting the 24th All-America honor in program history as he was selection to the NSCAA's Division III Second Team. Cullen finished 15th in the NJAC in points this season and 10th in assists. For his career he finished third all-time in assists with 28 and also scored 16 goals, including nine game-winning tallies.
