Jocelyn Anderson joined the Track & Field coaching staff in the fall of 2023 and now assists with the Cross Country program as well.
A 2018 Montclair State University graduate, Anderson mainly assists the sprinters, jumpers, and hurdlers in her role. A two-time NJAC Champion in the 60-meter hurdles during the 2015 and 2017 indoor campaigns. The 2014-15 NJAC Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Year, Anderson holds the Montclair school record for 60-meter hurdles (8.93) and 60-meter dash (8.12). She qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in 2018, placing 13th in the 60-meter hurdles. A Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society member, Anderson was a two-time First Team All-NJAC and two-time Second Team All-NJAC selection.
In the fall of 2025, Anderson helped guide Abigail Churchill to the best season by a cross country runner in the modern era of the program at Montclair. Churchill received USTFCCA All-Region and First Team All-NJAC recognition, becoming the first Red Hawk in the modern era to qualify for NCAA Division III Championships. She won a pair of meets in the early stages of the campaign, and became the first in program history to run a sub 22 minute 6K, doing so at NCAA Division III Metrio Region Championships with a school record 21:58.1.
