Montclair State University Athletics

Kelly Palma begins her second season at Montclair State in 2015. A versatile player throughout her high school and collegiate career, Palma played three seasons at Seton Hall University and was part of the Pirates two Big East Championship Tournament teams and was named to the Big East’s All-Academic Team three times. She graduated from Seton Hall with her degree in Biology in 2013 and went on to pursue a master’s degree in Nutrition at the University of Bridgeport where she played one season with the Knights. A native of Stamford, CT, she played four seasons at Trinity Catholic High School leading the team to its first City Volleyball Championship since 1982 in 2009 as well as semifinal berths in both the FCIAC and Connecticut state tournaments. Palma was a First-Team All-City selection and a Second-Team All-FCIAC pick in 2009. Palma recently began her coaching career at the Chelsea Piers Club in Connecticut.
