Montclair State University Athletics

Kim Butrico is in her second season as a coach with the Red Hawks after three seasons playing for Montclair State.  She appeared in 86 matches and totaled 94 services aces and 488 digs as a defensive specialist/libero. In 2012, Butrico had 51 service aces, ranking in the Top 15 of the NJAC, as she helped the Red Hawks to a school-record 22 victories. Last season she closed out her career with 29 aces and 207 digs as Montclair State advanced to the semifinals of the NJAC Tournament for the first time since 2009. A two-time member of the NJAC All-Academic Team, Butrico graduated from Montclair State in December 2013 with a degree in Psychology and Sociology.
