Montclair State University Athletics

Meghan (Bartsch) Carpenter is in her 11th season and came to Montclair State following a four-year career at Rider University that ended in 2013.

In addition Bartsch was a member of the Broncs Leadership Development Program, SAAC and was the captain of the team in 2012. Bartsch was a scholastic standout at Cranford High School serving as the team captain in her senior year. She helped Cranford to the Union County Championship in 2007 and was a two-time All-State selection as well as being named First-Team All-Union County and Mountain Valley Conference pick. Bartsch also spent eight years with the Atlantic Valley Volleyball Club, including four seasons as a coach.

While playing for AVVC, Bartsch was a member of the 17 National team that finished first in GEVA which qualified them to play in Junior Nationals. She went to serve as an assistant coach for the 16 regional team in 2011 and 2012 and was the assistant coach of the 14 national team.

Bartsch graduated from Rider with her degree in Behavioral Neuroscience.
