Tobie is named for the second time this season as she helped the current No. 14 Red Hawks remain unbeaten as Montclair State is off to its best start in program history. The sophomore averaged 12.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and five steals per game in four victories for MSU. She had 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists and eight steals as Montclair knocked off Mt. St. Mary, 53-37 in the final game of the first semester. In the MSU Holiday Tournament, Tobie helped lead Montclair to the championship as she earned All-Tournament Team honors. She had nine points, four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and four steals versus Washington College and followed that up with 17 points, nine rebounds and six steals in the championship-game win over Widener University. Last week, Tobie scored 11 points and added seven rebounds and four blocks in an 81-46 win at Richard Stockton as Montclair improved to 14-0 overall, 7-0 in the NJAC. Tobie is currently ranked in the NJACs Top 10 in six different categories, including scoring (5th at 13.9 ppg), field goal percentage (.520), free-throw percentage (4th at .767), steals (3rd at 3.4 spg) and blocks (8th at 1.0 bpg).
