Montclair State University Athletics

Tafro is named MSU Athlete of the Week for the second time this season and after collecting five points on two goals and two assists becoming the second player in Montclair State history to record 100 career points. Tafro, named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Week, scored MSU's first and last goal in a 4-0 win at FDU-Florham and then assisted on what turned out to be the difference in a 2-1 victory against No. 8 The College of New Jersey.  Tafro, who also came up with two defensive saves in the win against TCNJ, now has 101 career points and joined Jennifer Tanis as the only players to accomplish the feat. Tafro currently leads the NJAC in points (34) and goals scored (14) and fourth in assists (6).  She is ranked 26th in Division III in goals per game (1.08) and points per game (2.62).
