Gearity helped the Red Hawks women's outdoor track and field team to a fifth-place finish at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships over the weekend. The two-time defending NCAA Division III champion scored in all four events, including a victory in the 400 hurdles in which she ran a season-best 1:02.30. Her time in the event is currently 13th on the NCAA performance list. Gearity also ran the leadoff legs for both the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams that each finished second with times of 49.46 seconds and 3:58.08, respectively. All of the times Gearity, who was fourth in the 100 meter hurdles (15.86 seconds) helped produce were ECAC Championship qualifying times.
