Rasul earned the first NJAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week selection after competing in Yale University's Season Opener. Individually, he took home a first-place showing in a field of 24 competitors in the 400 meter dash with a time of 50.55. He was also a member of Montclair's winning 4x400 meter relay, which produced a top time of 3:21.97 in a field of 13 teams. The performance by Rasul in the 400 meter dash currently ranks as the best NJAC time and ranks 11th in all of NCAA Division III, while his team's performance in the 4x400 relay currently ranks as the best NJAC and NCAA Division III time in the event this season.
