Amilcar was named the NJAC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week as he helped the Red Hawks finish second at the New Jersey Invite hosted by The College of New Jersey. Individually, he won the 400 meters in a field of 22 competitors, registering an ECAC qualifying time of 49.57. Amilcar also finished sixth in a field of 37 runners in the 200 meters with a time of 22.75. He also was a member of the Red Hawks' first-place 4x100 relay squad, which registered an ECAC qualifying mark of 43.31 in a field of eight teams. Amilcar was also a member of the runner-up 4x400 relay, which produced an ECAC qualifying time of 3:21.21 in a field of eight teams. The performance in the 400 meters by Amilcar currently ranks as the second-best NJAC time in the event this season.
