Finlayson was chosen as the NJAC Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week after posting a pair of shutouts as Montclair State went 1-0-1 in its two matches. Finlayson made six saves as the Red Hawks went on the road and recorded a 6-0 win at St. Joseph's (LI) on Wednesday. Three days later, she made three saves including one during each overtime period as Montclair finished in a scoreless draw with Rowan. Finlayson had yet to allow a goal this season in seven appearances which includes six shutouts. She currently leads the NJAC in goals against average (.000) and is first in save percentage (1.000) stopping all 17 shots she has faced.
