Cobbertt earns his second MSU Athlete of the Week honor in his initial campaign with the Red Hawks as Montclair State split its two meets last week. Cobbertt posted a pair of first-place finishes as Montclair recorded its fifth conecutive victory in a 117.5-63.5 win at Mt. St. Mary College. He swam the leadoff leg for the winning 200 medley relay team (1:44.22) and won the 200 freestyle (1:51.32) in addition to finishing second in the 100 backstroke (58.25 seconds). The next day he took first place in the 100 and 200 freestyle in a road loss at Rowan University. Cobbertt posted a time of 1:47.00 in the 200 event and 48.63 seconds in the 100 freestyle. The freshman currently ranked in the Top 20 in the NJAC in the 50 (17th), 100 (15th)  and 200 freestyle (13th) and is tanked 15th in the 100 backstroke, 14th in the 200 backstroke as well as 18th in the 200 individual medley.
