Negra was named the NJAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the second time after capturing the lone first-place finish for MSU at the NJAC Championships. Negra won the javelin event with a personal-best throw of 41.92 meters which was also the best in the conference this season. Negra climbed into the Top 10 in the nation with the distance.
