Johnson, the NJAC Player of the Week, helped the Red Hawks to a 2-0 week as MSU evened its record at 4-4 on the year, 3-2 in the league. The 6-6 Johnson averaged 11.5 points and 13.0 rebounds in wins over William Paterson and Rowan. Johnson registered his second double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds in a 65-40 win against WPU on Wednesday. Johnson was 6-of-15 from the field and had four points during Montclair's 23-1, game-ending run as it picked up its second consecutive win against its local rival. Three days later, Johnson had another double-double of 10 points and a season-high 15 rebounds helping Montclair to a 92-78 win at Rowan. Johnson was one of five players in double figures for the MSU. Johnson is currently ranked fourth in the conference in rebounding 8.0 and is in the Top 25 in the league in scoring (22nd - 10.8 ppg).
