Nielsen won both sections of the diving competition in the Red Hawks' meet at Rowan and in the process qualified for the NCAA Regionals in March. Nielsen topped the qualifying score of 410 for the second time this season which enters her into the NCAA Regionals in Ithaca on March 2-3. She became the first MSU diver to qualify for an NCAA event since Kim Roy competed at the 1997 NCAA Championships.
